Daysheets makes it easy to edit the routing of your tour. Simply click in the gear icon, located in the left side menu above the tour routing, and select Edit Tour Routing. You will be taken to the the same page that you used to initially create the tour — Follow this workflow to make any adjustments to your routing.
Basic Details
To extend or shorten the tour, change the start and end dates to the desired length. You can also edit the name of the tour, travel method, and driving speed on this page.
Click Dates in the bottom right to move on to specific dates on the tour.
Define Dates
This page allows you to edit the day type and Llocation for any day on your tour. Day types can be changed by simply typing in any changes.
To edit Location, click on the pencil icon to the right of the date and click Done to save your changes. To completely clear the location on a date, click the trash bin icon. To add an additional location, click the + icon to the right of the date and use the search bar to select the desired city, venue, hotel, or other address — This is a useful feature for days when different parties on your tour are travelling at different times.
Click Save to head back to the tour, or click Review to see your changes and any updated drive times and distances.
Day types and locations for each date can be edited directly from the left-side routing in the tour. Click on the pencil icon to make any adjustments and click Save when you are done.
Review Tour
This page is meant for you to review drive times and distances between locations on your routing. Daysheets automatically flags drive times over 12 hours and will display these distances in yellow as a warning.
You can also adjust the method of travel between each location by clicking on the pencil icon to the right, between two locations. You’ll notice a drop down menu with various means of travel to choose from and a small notes section to the right to add any pertinent details.
Changing the travel method between each location allows your tour in Daysheets to be as accurate as possible to how you will actually be moving on tour.
Click Save to finalize your routing edits and see them updated in the tour.
